Empowering the Next Generation of Leaders in Lacrosse

At the Powell Lacrosse Foundation, we believe that the values of teamwork, commitment, and care that define our sport can transcend the field and create lasting change in our communities. Our Ambassador Program is designed to engage high school and teenage student-athletes who are passionate about lacrosse and service. This program offers a unique opportunity to develop leadership skills, gain community service experience, and build a strong college résumé—while giving back to the lacrosse family.

Who We Are Looking For

Student-Athletes

High school and teenage lacrosse players who are enthusiastic about both the sport and making a difference.

Leaders in the Making

Athletes who want to enhance their leadership skills and contribute to their communities while embodying the values of the Powell Lacrosse Foundation.

Main Responsibilities

As an Ambassador, you will play an active role in promoting the Powell Lacrosse
Foundation’s mission and supporting our community. Your responsibilities will include:

Volunteer at Foundation Events

Commit to volunteering at 1–3 Foundation events per year, either as part of a group or individually.

Promote the Foundation's Values

Share the Foundation’s mission, values, and goals at local clubs, teams, and schools to inspire others to get involved.

Support Foundation Initiatives

Participate in small volunteer projects such as social media promotions, event support, and community drives.

Mentorship

Report to your assigned All-Conference Captain for mentorship and guidance, ensuring you have the support needed to succeed.

Recommended Requirements

Active Student Status

You must be a current high school student in good academic standing.

Commitment

We recommend a one-year commitment to the program

Positive Representation

A strong desire to represent the Powell Lacrosse Foundation in a positive light.

Time Investment

Flexible Commitment

Ambassadors are asked to dedicate around 1–3 hours per month, especially during active event seasons. This provides a manageable way to balance your athletic and academic responsibilities.
